Technical and Materials

Canvas: Ripstop poly/cotton canvas or HD platinum flat poly/cotton canvas which are rot proofed, UV resistant, and waterproof yet maintain high breathability.

Zips: Heavy gauge No. 10 self-repairing coil zips ensure free slide action and strength.

PVC: Used on various model bases and floor mats. Our pvc is coated with a PVC compound which provides a ready to go 100% waterproof material which is easy to dust off and clean.

Foam Mattresses: A convoluted mattress with removable polyester washable cover. This reduces pressure on the body which helps to prevent possible pressure sores. The convoluted surface also provides increased airflow and also provides the most compressibility of mattresses.

70mm HDPE flat foam mattress with a zippered cotton removable washable cover. Mattress Cover base has a water resistant poly base and soft touch cotton top.

Poles: Made from high tensile pre-angled 8.5mm alloy. Pre-angled corners prevent overload on pole joins and corners. Alloy is designed not to fade, splinter or be affected by UV break down in Australia’s harsh conditions. Shock corded together and folds up and small into pole pockets.

Mesh: Aussie sand-fly and midge proof fine mesh

Buckles: Quick release duraflex style buckles with 30 to 50mm heavy duty built-in webbing straps for rolling

Stitching: Double stitched thread and bounded seams throughout
